Definition: All information considered private that has been provided to someone in trust. It is the duty of someone who has received confidential information to protect it. The information given should only be disclosed to a third party with the accordance or permission from the person who originally made it available, by following the proper protocols, rules and regulations authorizing its disclosure.
Professional confidentiality is the one and only principle which reinforces a strong relationship that has been built between a client and his professional of choice. Help Online has and will maintain using all significant standards to ensure the highest degree of confidentiality, which has already occurred throughout our visioconsultation sessions used by professionals and their clients.
Our servers are protected with a “secure socket layer” known as, SSL 128 Bits in order, to guarantee our clients and our professionals the most private connection available. The connections used for our visioconsultation sessions are protected with encryptions identical to the ones established in financial and banking institutions, in order to maintain a maximum security level for the entire length of your interaction.
All user codes and passwords are the exclusive property of the client and the professional. Help Online has no immediate access to them. Furthermore; the Help Online web portal will issue an access code to begin your visioconsultation. This access code will only be known by the professional and his client. The code will remain operational for the time allocated towards the single session.
Information is not retained on the Help Online server or by our staff. Furthermore; no documentation in reference to client files, visioconsultation sessions or reasons for consultations is kept, other than billing information. All documentation is automatically deleted after each consultation. It is the responsibility of each practicing professionals and their clients to preserve records of their meetings, if needed.
